Last week hacker/developer pod2g released his first app in the App Store—podDJ—and today via his blog Cyril has taken the wraps off his new venture: 2G Lab. The consulting group will be focused on development (app development I would assume) and security. It’s not hard to see how someone with his pedigree would be in high demand.

Hi. You reader certainly know that I have not been really present in the security field since a few months now.
The reason of this was the creation of my company, 2G Lab, focusing on 2 different areas : development and security research.
Now that our first application, named podDJ is out to the AppStore, we will focus on both subjects.

The website for the company isn’t up yet, but I expect that we’ll soon hear about cool projects they are working, and won’t hear anything at all about the really, really cool ones.
