Walmart is the Cheapest Place to Buy an iPhone 5 Right Now

iPhone-5-DisplayWalmart is currently selling the entry-level 16GB iPhone 5 at a price of $127, the cheapest we’ve ever heard. The device of course comes with a two year contract on AT&T, Verizon or Sprint. The store was already selling the iPhone 5 at a price of $187, and now it’s throwing in an additional $60 discount.

The discount is in-store only, meaning that you’ll have to go to a Walmart store to avail the $127 price.

Here’s what the store says on its site:

Get a $60 discount off the original price in-stores only. Offer requires new 2-year contract or upgrade. Price before discount: $187.00

The 32GB and 64GB models don’t seem to be applicable for the $60 in-store discount. You can find your nearest Walmart store by visiting this link and entering your zip code.

If you’re interested, be sure to head to a Walmart store as soon as possible, and depending on your luck you may or may not have to visit more than one Walmart store, since these discounted units tend to come in limited quantities.

For Christmas I got my wife a 16g 5 from Walmart. I only paid $27 dollars for it because I was given a Walmart gift card for $100. Jam!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I then purchased a 32g 5 for myself for $50 off at BestBuy.
    Good times!

Good to live in Australia where no phone costs you more than $10AUD (around $9.80USD) on a two year contract.

Did the 4S get discounted as frequently as the 5?
