Epic Games’ popular iOS game, Infinity Blade, the winner of Apple’s Design Award in 2011 and more than 20 “Game of the Year” & “Top App” awards has been picked by Apple as App of the week, which means it will be available for free for the next 7 days.
Infinity Blade was the first game powered by Epic’s Unreal Engine 3 technology. It was also one of the first games to bring near console quality to the iPhone and gave a glimpse of what can be done on a mobile device.
Epic Games has updated the game’s App Store page to announce the news:
Love is in the air, and so are swords, axes, hammers and scythes! Celebrate Valentine’s by enjoying the Must-Have iOS Blockbuster for FREE!
Infinity Blade was available for $0.99, before it was selected as the App of the Week and was priced as high as $5.99 when it first hit the App Store in December 2010.
So don’t waste any time and grab it as soon as you can.
