Apple ran a new television commercial for the iPad and iPad mini aptly titled “Hollywood” during the Oscars.
Just like the ‘Alive’ and ‘Together’ ads, the new ad also showcases some of the 300,000 apps designed specifically for the iPad.
The ad features words that popup on the screen in quick succession followed by the apps related to the word. The ad features the words” ‘lights’, ‘camera’ and ‘action.’
Some of the apps featured in the ads include iMovie, the iTunes Store, Apple Maps, Action Movie FX, and more, as well as clips from Back to the Future, Apollo 13, and Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.
The tagline for the ad on Apple’s YouTube page reads “With over 300,000 apps, iPad is up for anything you are.”
