LivelyIcons Animates Home Screen App Icons And Also Helps Fight Cancer

Filippo Bigarella, developer of popular jailbreak apps and tweaks like Springtomize, PasswordPilot Pro, CleverPin etc. has released a new jailbreak tweak called LivelyIcons.

As the name suggests, LivelyIcons animates Home screen app icons. You have the option to pick from several animations such as:

  • Zoom In
  • Wiggle
  • Spin Clockwise
  • Spin Counter Clockwise
  • Spin Clockwise (Image)
  • Spin Counter Clockwise (Image)
  • Bounce
  • Pacman (Horizontal)
  • Pacman (Vertical)
  • Ripple
  • Shake
  • Random

You can also increase or decrease the time of the animation using the slider. You can apply the changes on the fly as you don’t need to respring the Springboard to apply the changes.

LivelyIcons is available on Cydia for $1.99. It is compatible with iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and supports iOS 6 or later.

LivelyIcons not only makes it fun to launch apps from the Home screen, but by buying the tweak you will also help fight pediatric cancer as Bigarella has announced that he will be giving away the money he receives from the sale of the app (after deducting the taxes, PayPal fees, Cydia fees) to following organizations:

  1. Città della Speranza, an italian association based in Padova.
  2. Because of Ezra, a non profit pediatric cancer research foundation run by Kyle and Robyn Matthews

Bigarella explains why he is doing this:

Because I think it’s a great way to help other people and at the same time ‘give something back’ to the ones who donate: at the end of the day, you can get this new, little, fun tweak and at the same time do something good for all of us!

It’s an amazing gesture by Bigarella, so don’t waste any time and grab a copy from Cydia today to help a great cause.
