evasi0n 1.5.1 Released To Update Cydia Package List

evad3rs dev team has quietly rolled an update for evasi0n. evasi0n 1.5.1 comes with an updated Cydia package list.

The updated Cydia package list would mean that when you open Cydia immediately after the jailbreak it will already have a package catalog from all of the default repositories, and will not need to do a full refresh cycle. It will only need to get the diffs. It would also reduce the load on the repositories.

Here’s the complete change log for all the versions of evasi0n released by the evad3rs team so far:

  • Updated included Cydia package list.

Check out our step-by-step guide on how to jailbreak iOS 6.1.2 with evasi0n in case you need any help.

If you’ve already jailbroken your iOS device using evasi0n then you don’t need to re-jailbreak using evasi0n 1.5.1 as the package list is updated every time you launch Cydia.

With upcoming iOS 6.1.3 software update expected to kill the evasi0n jailbreak, it’s a a good time to jailbreak your iOS device if you haven’t done so already.
