App With Hidden Game Boy Advance Emulator Sneaks Into the App Store [Update: Removed]

If you want to play Game Boy Advance games on your iOS device without jailbreaking it, then act quickly.

The developer has managed to sneak the Game Boy Advance emulator in the App Store by hiding it inside an app for baby names called Awesome Baby Names.

After downloading the app Awesome Baby Names from the App Store, you can access the hidden Game Boy Advance Emulator with a series of taps. German based website, has provided instructions on how to enable the Game Boy Emulator below.

It goes without saying that you will still need to copy the ROMs to play the Game Boy Advance games on your iPhone.

So don’t waste any time, download Awesome Baby Names by Ian Jackson (direct iTunes link) before it is removed from the App Store. Let me know how it goes in the comments.

As a side note, I can’t understand why developers do this, as they will definitely get into trouble for doing something like this and risk their developer license from being revoked.

That was quick, Apple has removed the app from the App Store. via 9to5Mac

Taps aren’t working for me damnit now I have to impregnated my wife for this app to pay off. No but seriously it’s not working do I have to tap fast or does the app like it slow or slow at first then fast?

    Did you test it iPhoneHacks?

Yeah it works, I mean enabling the emulator but don’t have the ROMs to play the games.

Figured it out all you have to do is tap the 3x at the top and then 1x at the middle button then after that you will see a player one ready saying right under the middle button press on that so instead of the last tap on top of the middle button it should show it under the middle button

how do I download the ROMS, I went on the link, downloaded 1 and it doesnt work, please tell me where to download ROMs from

Okay, got the emulator to work but I can’t get the ROMS to work, I have downloaded plenty of them, then I extracted them and they still don’t work.

To load roms you need to download the gba bios file just google it, it’s a nice app you can download Roms straight from the app but gameplay is pretty choppy

You have to download the gba.bios file then put it in with your roms after that they will load and work great.
