Popular running iOS app RunKeeper was today updated to finally support the Pebble smart watch, a feature that was promised more than a year ago.
The integration lets users of the app see their pace, distance covered and speed on the Pebble’s display while biking, running or walking. There’s obviously a lot more that could be done, and RunKeeper CEO tells TechCrunch that this is just the “start” of their integration with Pebble.
Apart from Pebble support, the RunKeeper update packs in support for more languages and general improvements and bug fixes.
You can download RunKeeper from this iTunes link or head to the Update tab on the App Store. In case you weren’t a Pebble backer on Kickstarter and want one now, you can order the Pebble smart watch online for $150.
