Apple releases iOS 7 Beta 4 to developers


We’ve just got the news that Apple has seeded the fourth beta version of iOS 7 to developers of iOS Developer Program.

Apple unveiled iOS 7 at WWDC 2013 Keynote address on June 10th. It features a completely redesigned interface and new features such as Control Center, AirDrop for iOS, smarter multitasking, iTunes Radio and lots more.

Apple had seeded the first beta version of iOS 7 immediately after the WWDC 2013 Keynote on June 10th, iOS 7 beta 2 on June 24th and iOS 7 beta 3 on July 8th.

iOS 7 beta 4 seems to be available via OTA update currently. It is available for the following iOS devices:

  • iPhone 5, iPhone 4S, iPhone 4
  • iPad 4, iPad 3, iPad 2 and iPad mini
  • iPod touch 5G


Update 1:

The build number of iOS 7 beta 4 is 11A4435d. The download size seems to vary from 200MB to 264MB.

Update 2:

We’re getting reports that the OTA update seems to be working for non-developers as well.

Apple has also released Apple TV Software beta 3, Xcode 5 Developer Preview 4 and iTunes 11.1 beta 1.

iOS 7 beta 4 expires on Thursday, September 12.

        it will only OTA to beta 4 if you are on beta 3 as it is delta updates

      Hi i couldn’t update because there is no such a screen in Settings-genera-software update. While checking the software, it says IOS 7.0 upto date. There is no talk about the beta version but mine is beta 1. Please help me to solve this. I dont have a dev account. :(

    ota from beta3 worked perfeclty on my 4s!
    the music app is finally able to play all tracks from one artist. there is a statusbar for itunes backup on lockscreen! i hope for batterie improvements

        You should trying installing iOS 7 beta 4. You won’t be able to upgrade from beta 2 to beta 4.
