Photo of cheaper iPhone’s plastic rear shell with new blue color

French website had published few photos of what could be the rear shell of Apple’s cheaper plastic iPhone in green, yellow and red.

The French site has now published a new photo, which includes blue and white rear plastic shell. still maintains that it could easily be a Chinese clone, but certain aspects of the rear shell such as the holes for the rear camera, microphone and LED flash and the rounded rear edges are in-line with the rumors we’ve heard so far.

It also matches with the purported schematics of the cheaper iPhone, which leaked last week. MacRumors had also created some cool high-resolution rendering of the lower-cost iPhone, which give a good idea of what it will look like.

It has been widely speculated that Apple will launch the cheaper iPhone alongside iPhone 5S later this fall.  If Apple prices the factory unlocked lower-cost iPhone between $350 to $250 and it looks anything like the renderings then Apple will have another winner on its hands. What do you think?

Where are the standard “Designed by Apple in California, Assembled in a suicide factory” markings that are on all devices? Surely they would be stamped at the same time as the Apple logo. I’m not too sure the top photo is real product.

I think they’re fakes. They don’t look to me like what apple would put out. The colors look cheesy to me.
