It’s always nice to see a free tweak added to Cydia because it gives you something to mess with for a bit to see if you like it and ultimately if want to keep it on your device at no charge. Well, there have been 3 free tweaks added to Cydia recently that I’m going walk you through.
First up is EasyIconEdit, which is a tweak developed by DDT that allows you to move multiple icons on your iPhone’s Home screen at the same time. All you have to do is tap and hold on an icon to make the icons wiggle, then tap the apps once (sometimes a few more times) to highlight the icons in green, swipe to the page you want the icons to be, and tap those icons again in the order that you want them to appear on your Springboard.
This is a similar tweak to MultiIconMover, but it has one nice difference and that is that it allows you to choose the order in which the apps are placed on a specific page. With MultiIconMover all apps are placed on placed on the Springboard in the order in which they originally were, EasyIconEdit gives you the option to change that. Only issue I had with this tweak is it doesn’t always recognize the first tap, and can sometimes take multiple taps to get it highlighted. Other than that, it works as designed.

Next, we have MessageRenamer, developed by Atlas Wegman. This is a tweak that helps you stay organized with your conversations in your messages app. This tweak is especially helpful when you have multiple group messages and you want to label each group to something specific so you’re not accidentally sending messages to the wrong group. If you have a group message that you would like to rename, just open your messages app, tap and hold on the conversation and you’ll get an option to “rename, reset, or cancel”. Tapping rename gives you a popup that will allow you to change the conversation name to whatever you please.
If you decide that you want to change the name of the conversation again or you just want to change it back to the original names, then just tap and hold and choose “reset”. This will put it back to what it originally was.

Last, but not least, we have Uninstall Application Size. This is a tweak developed by CyKey that notifies you of the size of the application in which you’re deleting. Once installed, all you have to do it tap and hold on an app to make the icons wiggle, tap the “X” and in the original popup that you usually get, asking you if you’re sure you want to delete, it will also give you the size of the app. Not surprisingly, if you try to delete an app that you’ve downloaded from Cydia, it tell you the size of it is Zero KB.
This way you can keep track of how big some applications are and decide whether or not the app is worth the space that it’s taking up.
