It looks like Apple didn’t expect the flood of traffic as it has started restricting access to iWork for iCloud beta web apps, according to 9to5Mac.
Users are reporting that they’re getting the following message when they try to access the beta version of Pages, Numbers or Keynotes on iCloud.com:
We’ve had an overwhelming response to Numbers for iCloud beta. Please check back soon.
Apple unveiled iWork for iCloud alongside iOS 7, which allows users to create documents, spreadsheets and presentations using a web browser on their Mac or PC.
I am getting error when I try to access the iWork web apps. Apple should have hidden the apps from the iCloud home page so that users don’t have to go through the hassle of clicking on the icons to find out they can’t access it.
Let us know if you’re able to access the iWork web apps or getting this error message.
