Vietnamese website Tinhte has posted photos, which it claims are mockups of the next generation iPhone, dubbed iPhone 5S and the rumored budget iPhone 5C.
Tinthe has a solid track record when it comes to pre-release leaks for Apple products.
They’ve created the mockups based on the information they’ve received so far. They have heard the following about the iPhone 5S:
- As seen in the mockups, iPhone 5S will look similar to the iPhone 5 in terms of design.
- It will come with a 12-megapixel rear facing camera.
- As seen in the mockup, it may feature dual LED Flash.
- They’re not sure about the CPU, but the next generation A-series chip that powers iPhone 5S will come with 2GB RAM (iPhone 5 has 1GB RAM).
The 2GB RAM is new piece of information, as there have been rumors that iPhone 5S will come with only 1GB RAM like the iPhone 5.
They haven’t provided a lot of information about the low-cost iPhone 5C, except for the fact that it will come with 4-inch display like iPhone 5 and iPhone 5S, a plastic rear shell and buttons will also be made of plastic, not metal.
