With the release of iOS 7, Apple has quietly increased the over-the-air limit for the App Store downloads to 100 MB from 50 MB.
Apple had previously increased the limit from 20MB to 50 MB when the third generation iPad with Retina Display was launched last year.
If the apps or app updates are above the over-the-air download limit then the App Store app prompts you to connect to a Wi-Fi network or use iTunes to download it.
This should be good news for developers as previously they were quite constrained by the 50mb limit, and used to try to keep app updates below the 50MB limit.
