Apple announced the schedule for its Tech Talk series for developers. These mini-conferences are for developers who want some personal, one-on-one time with Apple’s evangelists and engineering teams. The events will be held in San Francisco, NYC, Tokyo, Shanghai, Berlin and London starting in October.
Held in cities throughout the world, these Tech Talks are a much more personal event than WWDC, which is visited by thousands of developers at a time during a few short days in June. Each Tech Talk conference attracts about 400 developers. Events will be recorded and the videos will be valuable online after the lat event takes place on December 18th.
The Tech Talks will visit each city for two days. Unlike previous Tech Talks which mixed development topics throughout the two days, Apple has grouped the subject matter together this year. Day One will focus on app development, while Day Two will cover game development. Developers cannot attend both sessions and much choose one or the other when they apply.
Developers can apply to attend the conference, and they will be selected randomly from qualified applicants. Developers have to be 13 or older to apply. Interested parties can check out the full agenda of talks as well as apply on Apple’s developer website.
