As expected, it looks like Apple and its carrier partners will start taking pre-orders for iPhone 5c at approximately 3:01 am EST on Friday morning.
Apple had announced that it will start taking pre-orders from September 13th, but it had not provided the exact time when the pre-orders will go live.
Apple is yet to announce it officially, but Verizon has already announced on their website that they’ll start taking pre-orders for iPhone 5c from 3:01 am EST (12:01 am PT).
Sprint has also announced it will start taking pre-orders for iPhone 5c from 2:00 am Central Time (12:00 PT). We expect Apple, AT&T and T-Mobile to also start accepting pre-orders at the same time.
iPhone 5c pre-orders should also go live in other countries such as Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Puerto Rico, Singapore and the UK at the same time.
iPhone 5c will cost $99 and $199 respectively for the 16GB and 32GB model with a two-year contract, and $549 and $649 respectively without a contract.
iPhone 5s won’t be available for pre-order. You will be able to either order it online on September 20 or have to go to Apple Retail store or your carrier’s retail store to buy it.
