Here’s the details of the launch date in various countries, and also when iPhone 5S will be available for pre-order.
Apple has announced that iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c will go on sale on Friday, September 20.
iPhone 5c will be available for pre-order this Friday, September 13. Strangely, iPhone 5s won’t be available for pre-order, and you will be able to either order it online on September 20 or go to Apple Retail store or carrier store to buy it.
While Apple hasn’t mentioned it, we expect it to be available on Apple’s and carriers website at 3:00 am ET on Friday.
iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c will be available in 9 countries including the US, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Japan, Australia, China, Singapore on September 20. It will be first time the iPhone goes on sale in China in the first wave of launches. It will also be available on NT Docomo’s network in Japan.
The iPhone 5s will cost $199, $299 and $399 respectively for the 16GB, 32GB and 64GB models with a two-year contract and the iPhone 5c will cost $99 and $199 respectively for the 16GB and 32GB model.
If you want to buy one without a contract then iPhone 5s will cost $649, $749 and $849 respectively for the 16GB, 32GB and 64GB models, and the iPhone 5c will cost $549 and $649 for the 16GB and 32GB model.
