Game developer and publisher Codemasters today released F1 Challenge on the App Store, bringing a racing experience with over 90 events and all officially licensed F1 cars to iOS devices.

F1 Challenge includes over 90 challenges, including some inspired by key moments of the 2012 F1 season. You can play with all of your favorite drivers like Scuderia Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso, Red Bull Racing’s Sebastian Vettel, Vodafone McLaren Mercedes’ Jenson Button and Lotus F1 Team’s Kimi Räikkönen.

The game, as you’d expect, is optimised for iOS devices, letting you touch to steer, tap to use K.E.R.S. boost, and an additional top-down view for an alternate way of having a look at all the racing actions.

F1 Challenge is priced at $2.99 and is available as a 228 MB universal binary that works for both the iPhone and iPad. You’ll need an iPad 2 or newer, an iPhone 4S or newer or an iPod touch 5 running iOS 7 to play the game.
