Planning to buy the new iPad Air? You will be able to get one from Apple’s Retail Store at 8:00 am on November 1st.
It looks like Apple has just updated its Apple Retail Store webpage to confirm that its Retail Store will open at 8:00 am local time on Friday, November 1st, just as we had expected.
Here’s the text from Apple’s website:
Buy iPad Air at your favorite Apple Retail Store beginning at 8:00 a.m. on November 1. We’ll set it up just the way you like.*
iPad mini with Retina display coming to stores later in November.
* Supplies may be limited and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
This year, Apple isn’t taking pre-orders for the new iPads like the iPhone 5s. Apple is yet to announce the release date for the new iPad mini with Retina Display. It has announced that it will be available later this year.
We expect the iPad Air to also be available on Apple’s Online Store at 12:01 am PDT.
iPad Air and will be available in the following countries on November 1st:
US, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, China (Wi-Fi models only), Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macao (Wi-Fi models only), Macedonia, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Romania, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK
You will also be able to buy the iPad Air at Apple’s authorised resellers.
The iPad Air will cost $499, $599, $699 and $799 respectively for the 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB Wi-Fi only models, $629, $729, $829 and $929 respectively for 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB Wi-Fi+Cellular models.
