Wal-Mart to sell iPad Air for $479, starts iPad trade-in program

Wal-Mart could again be one of the cheapest place to buy the new iPad Air, just like the new iPhones.

Wal-Mart has announced that it will be selling Apple’s new iPad Air for $479, which is a $20 discount on the retail price.

Apple has announced that the iPad Air will go on sale on November 1st.

Wal-Mart is also extending its trade-in program to tablets. It says you can get up to $300 in-store credit for your old tablet, which you can then use to buy the new iPad.

According to CNNMoney, it won’t be offering a discount on the iPad mini 2 with Retina Display. It will sell the new iPad mini for $399. Apple hasn’t the release date for the Retina iPad mini yet.

Wal-Mart has also slashed the prices of the iPad 4 Wi-Fi only model to $449 most likely to clear its inventory so the stocks would be limited. It has also slashed the price of the 16GB iPad mini Wi-Fi only model to $299.
