A new version of GBA4iOS, the popular Game Boy Advance emulator, will be releasing tomorrow with a bunch of features, a new iOS 7 design, and performance fixes. Most importantly, it’ll work even on non-jailbroken devices.
Here are some of the features in GBA4iOS 2.0:
- An iOS 7 redesign with transparency, flat UI elements and more
- Dropbox support and an in-app browser to add ROMs
- Support for MFi Game Controllers
- iPad support
- Cheat codes
- Support for Game Boy and the Game Boy Color in addition to Game Boy Advance
The Emulator will work even without a jailbreak, taking advantage of Apple’s Enterprise Distribution program, where certain non-App Store apps can be installed on iOS devices without a jailbreak.
