Apple has been quick with the betas when it comes to the upcoming public release for OS X Mavericks, 10.9.5, with the second beta being released on August 7. The third beta is now being seeded to developers.
The third beta marks another quick release, as this comes less than a week than the last build, which was 13F12. With the third beta now being seeded to developers, the build has been bumped up to 13F14. While that might indicate a bigger change than last time, it looks like Apple is still asking developers to keep their focus on certain things:
USB, USB Smart Cards, Thunderbolt integration, Safari and Graphics. These are the same elements that Apple asked developers to focus on in the previous two betas as well. Unfortunately, as it stands, there’s no word on what, exactly, this update will bring to the table for consumers when it launches in the coming weeks.
If you’re a developer, you can find the new software through the Apple Developer portal below, or through the Update Software option.
