Apple Store app updated with all-new design ahead of iPhone 6 launch, finally available to iPad users outside US

Apple Store app 3.0

Apple has just released a major update for its Apple Store app.

Apple Store 3.0 for iPhone and iPod touch gets an all-new design with improved navigation.

As per the release notes, the app will now allow you to start shopping on one device and finish it on another device including your Mac or PC.

The new “Stores” tab displays upcoming events and workshops at nearby Apple Retail Stores.

The good news for international users is that the iPhone app is now universal, so you will be able to install the app on your iPad. Previously, the older iPad version was not available outside U.S. You will also be able to make one to one reservations on the iPad, which was previously available only on the iPhone.

Here’s the complete change log of Apple Store 3.0:

– Now start shopping on one device and finish on another, or even on your Mac or PC.
– Find out about upcoming events and workshops at nearby Apple Retail Stores using the new Stores tab on your iPhone.
– On iPhone and iPod touch, there’s an all-new design with more refined navigation and imagery.
– On iPad, you can now make One to One reservations.

The update comes just days before the launch of iPhone 6, which should go on sale shortly after the launch.

You can download the app from the App Store using this direct iTunes link.
