AT&T Mobile Share plans with double data

AT&T has announced new promotional Mobile Share Value plans with double the amount of data for both new and existing customers with monthly data plans of 15GB or more.

This means that customers with monthly shared data plans of 15GB will now receive 30GB of data, while those on 20GB, 30GB, 40GB, and 50GB plans will receive 40GB, 60GB, 80GB, and 100GB of data, respectively. The plans also include unlimited talk, text, and international messaging. New and existing customers have to signup for the new promotional Mobile Share Value plans by October 31st.

Select locations. Pricing is for service only & includes plan charge for allotment of shared data of 30 GB to 100 GB for ($130 to $375/mo) & monthly access charge per device ($10 to $40/mo.). Does not include device purchase costs. Offer and pricing subject to change.  Other options, charges & restrictions apply.
The promotion plans does not include device purchase costs, and applies to new and existing customers under the AT&T Next early upgrade program, and also includes customers who bring their own smartphone or purchase one at full price.
It seems to be a response to Sprint’s new plans that come with double the data. Sprint’s also got a special promotion, for a limited time, that will see anyone who signs up for the 20GB, $100 plan will get an extra 2GB per month.
