Apple CEO Tim Cook confirmed on Tuesday that the highly-anticipated Apple Watch, the Cupertino-based company’s first smartwatch and entrance into the wearable device market, will start at $349 and be available early next year. The smartwatch will be offered with several different watch faces and leather, metal and plastic straps.
The Apple Watch requires being paired with an iPhone and is compatible with the following devices: iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5s, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. As mentioned by Apple chief executive Tim Cook, that makes the Apple Watch available to over 200 million iPhone users as of present.
The all-new Apple Watch, which is the first new product category for Apple since launching the iPad in 2010, features a square design, Digital Crown versatile button, built-in Siri and several health and fitness sensors for tracking your pulse rate and more.
