As promised, the Pangu team today updated Pangu Jailbreak for iOS 8 — iOS 8.1 to version 1.1 with Cydia.
When Pangu Team released the Pangu jailbreak for iOS 8 – iOS 8.1 few days back, it did not install Cydia during the jailbreak process, so jailbreakers had to manually install it, which was quite a hassle. The Pangu team made the process easier by adding Cydia to the Pangu iOS app, but with Pangu 1.1, you won’t have to separately install Cydia, it’ll be available as soon as you jailbreak.
Here’s the entire change log:
1. The integration of the latest version of Cydia
2. Optimize the jailbreak process, improve the success rate
3. On 64 machine repair problems Safari error
4. Fix iMessage / SMS can not send a picture of the problem
5. Substrate not need Respring to take effect
6. Practical Pangu APP update multiple functions
7. Add the English support
You can download Pangu 1.1.0 from our download page:
If you’re already jailbroken, you don’t need to re-jailbreak your device. Check this post to know how to install Cydia. Once you install Cydia, just update the Pangu untether package to get rid of Safari and iMessage errors. As always, let us know how it goes.
Pangu team has also said that they will be releasing the Mac version, and will focus on it if there is no major problem with v1.1:
We will definitely release a Mac version. But pls give us some time. If there is no major problem for v1.1 we will then focus on Mac version
