iOS 8 has a quick and easy way to change the case of a word with the QuickType feature.
We’ve have covered how to use almost all the new features in iOS 8, but looks like we missed this one.
This nifty little trick was discovered by a reddit user.
Here’s how it works:
- Highlight the word for which you want to change the case.
- Double-tap on the Shift key to switch to Caps lock.
- You should now see the word in caps lock as one of the suggestions.
- Tap on the word in upper case from the QuickType suggestions to change the case.
If you want to change the case to lower case, then tap on the shift key once, you should see the word in lower case in the suggestion.
Since it works with QuickType, this trick will work only for words in the iOS dictionary.
Let me know how it goes.
