Apple on Wednesday, December 3, released an update to Safari running on the three most recent versions of the desktop platform: Yosemite, Mavericks and Mountain Lion.
The update for Yosemite brings up the version to 8.0.1, while the version released for Mavericks brings Safari to 7.1.1, and the Mountain Lion version number to 6.2.1. With the update, Apple aims to fix issues with WebGL graphics running on Macs with Retina displays. Additionally, users that noticed issues with iCloud Keychain, or syncing their browsing history, should see those problems squashed with this update.
The update is available now through the Mac App Store.
Apple seems to have pulled the update from the Mac App Store. It is no longer available when you go to the updates tab. Thanks everyone for the tip!
