Rumors of an Apple Store opening in Brooklyn, New York, have long been circulating, but according to a new report those rumors will become fact sooner, rather than later.

A report published on Tuesday, December 9 by the NY Post states that Apple’s first Retail Store will be opening up in Brooklyn sometime in April 2015:

Ending years of speculation, the tech-products powerhouse has signed a long-term lease for a 20,000-square-foot store at 247 Bedford Ave. at the corner of North 3rd Street, brokerage community sources definitively revealed. It will be Apple’s long-awaited first Brooklyn location.

The render, which showcases what the building will look like once the final renovations are complete, showcase large, floor-to-ceiling arched windows — something quite indicative of many Apple Stores. What’s more, the original report notes that the store will be close to the Bedford Avenue L Station.

If you’re in Brooklyn, are you looking forward to this store’s opening?
