Notification Center is a common place for users to view all the pending notifications on their device. Confero is an upcoming jailbreak tweak that will take notification management on iOS to a whole new level.
With Confero, you can view all the apps with pending notifications from one place as well as launch or clear their badges with just the swipe of a finger. The tweak adds a new icon to the Status Bar indicating that there are apps with a pending notification.
When you tap on the icon, a tiny interface opens that displays app icons with notification badges. You can swipe left or right to view all the apps as well as tap on any of them to launch. If you want to clear the badge notifications of an app, simply swipe up the icon and it will be cleared.
One of the useful functionality of the tweak is that you can clear all the notification badges in a snap. To do so, all you have to do is to invoke Confero from the Status Bar, tap and hold on an app icon and all the notification badges will be cleared once you confirm. Confero comes with a bunch of configuration in the stock Settings app. From there, you can switch between light and dark mode which changes the background of Confero’s interface, replace swipe up gesture with close buttons, enable paging and many more other options that allow you to customize the tweak based on your preferences.
You can also lock the tweak’s interface with a custom passcode or Touch ID, but I don’t think anyone would ever use it.
Confero is not available on Cydia at the moment, but it is expected to hit the store in a few days. When it does, it will be available on BigBoss repository for $1.49.
