On Tuesday, December 16, Google announced via its official Google+ page that Google Drive had been updated to expand its usefulness.
The latest update, which brings Google Drive up to version 3.4.0, offers one big piece of new features: the ability to upload files from other apps right into Google Drive. Thanks to iOS 8’s Extensions, now adding a folder from iCloud Drive, or even Microsoft’s OneDrive, is just a few taps away.
The update to Drive also brings with it support for Google’s My Maps feature, and will allow users to access custom made maps whenever they want.
The update is available now through the iOS App Store, and a link to the app is just below.
