‘Watch ABC’ Apple TV app now allows all users to watch most recent episodes of TV shows

The Watch ABC app for Apple TV has been updated to allow all users to watch full episodes of ABC shows just a week after it is aired on the channel. The app will no longer require users to confirm their cable provider.

However, users will have to sign in and verify their cable provider if they want to watch any of the live feed from ABC or full episodes of TV shows prior to the latest six. The app has also received a slight facelift, and now features a continuous playback mode that will automatically skip to the next episode once the current one ends.

All Apple TV viewers can now access full episodes a week after they air. Like WATCH ABC for mobile devices and desktop, viewers can now watch such shows as ScandalHow to Get Away With MurderModern Familyblack-ishOnce Upon A Time and Castle, among others, a week after they air.  Sign in is required for ABC’s live network feed and its most current episodes.

It was only last week that Apple TV was updated with a redesigned YouTube app and gained access to four new channels from UFC.TV, Dailymotion and others.
