A report from KGI Securities suggests that Apple will start shipping the Watch in March, 2015 and is also trying to launch its 12-inch MacBook Air within the first quarter of this year.
The report also suggests that Apple will ship 61 million units of the iPhone in the first quarter of 2015 beating all analysts expectations, with the iPad shipping 10 million units in the same time period.
According to analyst Ming Chi Kuo of KGI Securities, Apple will reveal some more key details about the Watch before its official launch in March, including its battery life specifications and pre-order details. Previous leaks have indicated that the retail training of the Apple Watch is slated to begin in February with the Watch going on sale in March.
He further goes on to state that Apple will ship nearly 2.8 million units of the Apple Watch in the Q1, 2015, but there will be supply constraints due to low production yields of key components.
Various reports from different sources have also indicated that Apple plans on launching the 12-inch MacBook Air in the first quarter of 2015, with Quanta even ramping up production for a possible launch this quarter.
