While Apple has recently just seeded the first beta of OS X 10.10.3, which saw the release of Photos for Mac, Apple has kept its focus on the future with the first beta of iOS 8.3.
Apple has just seeded the first developer preview for iOS 8.3, which will in all likelihood be the next major update for the platform in 2015. With this update, it’s believed that support for the Apple Watch will see the light of day, as Apple tests the software ahead of a public launch. As far as this beta release goes, it’s the first of what will probably be many, as Apple’s CEO Tim Cook previously confirmed that the Apple Watch is on schedule to begin shipping in April.
It’s believed that the public launch of iOS 8.3 will coincide with the launch of the Apple Watch, so the company has quite a few weeks ahead of it to test and prepare the required mobile software.
