SimpleNC: Jailbreak Tweak lets you declutter the Notification Center

If you’re looking for a way to declutter the Notification Center, you’d want to check out a new jailbreak tweak going by the name SimpleNC.

The tweak provides tons of toggles that allow you to simplify the Notification Center and hide the elements that you don’t want. With the endless amount of customization options that it provides, you will have complete control over how it looks.

Once you install SimpleNC, you can get started by visiting the tweak’s preferences pane in the stock Settings app. The pane features a long list of switches, over 30 toggles, that allow you to hide various elements of Notification Center. You can completely remove everything to give Notification Center a clean look or you can disable the toggles that you don’t end up using.

After you’re done making the changes, all you have to do is to respring your device for the changes to take place. This can be done via the ‘Respring to activate changes’ button at the bottom of the tweak’s preferences pane.

With tons of switches and options that SimpleNC provides, it can be quite time consuming to explore the whole list and find what you want, but it ensures that you will have a complete control over the look of the Notification Center. One of the disadvantages of the tweak is that you can’t view the changes right away as you’ll have to respring your device first.

If you’re interested to give this tweak a try and simplify your Notification Center, SimpleNC can be downloaded for free from Cydia’s BigBoss repository.

Personally, I prefer tweaks like CCSettings and Polus that allow me to add more toggles and quick launch app icons rather than a tweak like SimpleNC that lets me remove them.
