After weeks, if not months, of speculation and rumor mongering, HTC has finally announced the One M9, the flagship follow-up to last year’s One (M8).
On Sunday, March 1, HTC officially announced the One M9 at Mobile World Congress over in Barcelona. The One M9 is the newest flagship from HTC, and while it looks quite similar to the One (M8) from 2014, there are some key differences which could give some potential buyers more to consider.
As far as the specifications go, here’s what to expect when the One M9 launches in mid-March in more than 20 countries across the globe:
- 5-inch 1080p HD display
- Qualcomm Snapdragon octa-core 810 2.0GHz processor
- 3GB of RAM
- 32GB built-in storage; microSD card slot (up to 128GB)
- 2840mAh battery
- Android 5.0 Lollipop under Sense 7 UI
- 20.7-megapixel camera; UltraPixel front-facing camera
The One M9 will be available in four different colors: gunmetal grey, pink, gold and silver.
