New Apple TV to be unveiled at WWDC; To come with faster internals, App Store, Siri and more

A report from Buzzfeed claims that Apple will be unveiling a new Apple TV at WWDC this year. The device will get new internals, and will also come with an App Store and Siri.

The new Apple TV is expected to come with a new design, faster internals including an A8 chip or its variant, more internal storage to allow users to install apps and more. The updated operating system on the device will also offer Siri for voice control and compatibility with selected HomeKit enabled devices.

This report from Buzzfeed corroborates with previous reports about the Apple TV getting a major refresh at WWDC in June this year.

Apple had reduced the price of the current gen Apple TV to $69 at its ‘Spring Forward’ event earlier this month, and also teamed up with HBO to launch an exclusive new HBO Now channel.
