Whether you are uploading videos to YouTube, Vine, or Instagram, your iPhone camera is there to capture the moment. While recording a video is a simple as pointing the camera on yourself or the at the action, you can’t really do both easily. If you are at a concert or at a game recording the action, it would be great to record what you see and how you react to it. That’s what Twicer sets out to do.
How to Record Reaction Videos with Twicer
Download the free app, Twicer from the App Store (direct iTunes link). Twicer allows users to record up to a minute of video for both the front and rear cameras. This means that you can record what you see and add your commentary inside the video, like picture-in-picture.
Open Twicer and you will get a brief introduction of the main functions of the application. Read these over and allow the app access to your Camera.
Tap on the Twicer icon to reveal the video recording screen. On the next screen tap the record button to begin recording your video. You can also upload videos you have in your Camera Roll, by selecting the icon to the right of the record button.
Begin recording your Twicer video by selecting the either Main Video or Corner Video. The Main Video will use your rear camera and the Corner Video will use the front camera by default. You can switch the cameras by tapping the camera switch icon.
After recording your video, tap Next in the top right. You will need to create an account using your Facebook or email address. Creating an account enables you to share and save your recordings.
After creating your account you will need to select a category for your video. Once you have selected a category you can post and save the video to the Camera Roll.
