NotiAction is a new jailbreak tweak with a unique concept that lets you take better advantage of Activator. The tweak automatically invokes various Activator actions based on the keywords that appear in incoming notifications.
The tweak lets users add up to 10 keywords such that the corresponding Activator action will be invoked if one of the phrases appears in a notification.
For instance, you can assign an Activator action to open the Calendar app whenever the keyword ‘today’ is found in an incoming notification. In such a case, when you receive a message from your friends asking whether you’re available for the day, your iPhone will launch the Calendar app automatically.
Once you install NotiAction, venture into its preferences pane available in Settings where you’ll spend most of your time experimenting with the tweak. From there, you can enable or disable it on demand and toggle on or off case sensitivity.
The pane provides up to 10 text fields where you can enter the keywords to search for in incoming notifications You can also enter a wild card character using ‘%%’ which can be any amount of text but must match the entire notification filter for the corresponding Activator action to be invoked.
Once you’re done, you can tap on the respring button available at the bottom of the pane to save the preferences. After your device restarts, head to Activator and search for the section labelled ‘NotiAction Events’. There, you’ll find all the 10 events listed, each corresponding to a particular keyword, to which you can assign Activator actions.
NotiAction is a brilliant tweak that will come in handy in your daily life. The tweak works perfectly as advertised without any issues and is worth the try.
