Currently in iOS 8 or earlier, emailing multiple photos from your iPhone or iPad can be quite a frustrating experience. You can add multiple photos using the “Insert Photo or Video” option in the Mail app but you need to insert them one by one, or you can send only 5 photos at once via the Mail app.
The other cumbersome option is, you can copy the photos in the Photos app, and then paste them in the email.
iOS 9 finally gets rid of the annoying 5 photos limitations. There doesn’t seem to be any restriction on the number of photos you can share via Mail in the Photos app.
As you can see in the screenshot above, I was able to email 100 photos using the Photos app in iOS 9. iOS 9 has also brought back the ability to select photos by swiping your finger over them, which makes it even better to email multiple photos from your iPhone or iPad.
Minor improvements like this one go a long way in enhancing the overall user experience.
