As expected, TaiG team has released TaiG 2.2.0 jailbreak to jailbreak iOS 8.4, which was just released by Apple few hours back.
Last week TaiG team had released the TaiG 2.x jailbreak tool to jailbreak iOS 8.3 – iOS 8.1.3. There were some concerns that Apple would patch the vulnerabilities in iOS 8.4.
But earlier today, TaiG team had confirmed that iOS 8.4 does not patch the exploits used by them in TaiG 2.x jailbreak tool to jailbreak iOS 8.3 – iOS 8.1.3.
TaiG 2.2.0 can now be used to jailbreak iOS 8.4, iOS 8.3, iOS 8.2 and iOS 8.1.3.
The TaiG jailbreak supports the following iOS devices:
- iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5, iPhone 4S
- iPad Air 2, iPad Air, iPad 4, iPad 3, iPad 2
- iPad mini 3, iPad mini 2, iPad mini
- iPod touch 5G
TaiG jailbreak is currently available only for Windows. For now, Mac users will have to run Windows in a virtual machine to use the TaiG jailbreak.
