Apple launches new ‘If it’s not an iPhone, it’s not an iPhone’ campaign with two new ads

New iPhone 6 ad campaign

Apple has released two new ads for iPhone 6 titled “Loved” and “Hardware”. The new ads end with a tag line “If it’s not an iPhone. It’s not an iPhone”.

Interestingly, Apple had used a similar tag line for the iPhone ads in 2011, which ended with “Yup, if you don’t have an iPhone, well, you don’t have an iPhone”.

The first ad titled “Loved” claims that 99% of the users who own an iPhone love their iPhone. The ad features the iPhone 6, and shows how people are using it for messaging, FaceTime, recording videos etc. The ad ends with “If it’s not an iPhone, it’s not an iPhone”.

The second ad titled “Hardware & Software” focusses on one of the major advantages of Apple products, which is the tight integration of hardware with software. The ad talks about how “unlike most smartphones, we (Apple) design the hardware part and the software part. So the hardware part makes the most of the software part, and the software part makes the most of the hardware part.  When you design the whole phone, all the parts work together as one amazing part.” The ad ends with the tag line “If it’s not an iPhone, it’s not an iPhone”.

The new ads seem to be part of a new ad campaign for iPhone 6. The first ad campaign for the iPhone 6 featured Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake, which explained the differences between iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. The second campaign featured photos and videos shot on the iPhone 6.

The new ads are pretty cool. Classic Apple. Let me know what you think in the comments.
