On Wednesday, August 5, Apple updated its TestFlight platform to better help developers get their apps ready for iOS 9.
On the desktop front, though, Apple has officially seeded the third beta for OS X 10.10.5 Yosemite to developers. The second beta was released on July 30. This beta is build 14F25a, and it’s available through the Mac App Store on devices that are running the second beta. It is also available, as usual, through Apple’s Developer Center.
As far as what’s new in the software, the third beta will likely follow suit with the first and second releases, insofar that it won’t have any consumer-facing alterations. The changes are more than likely strictly meant for behind-the-scenes tweaks and performance enhancements.
