The iPad mini 4 keeps the same 7.9-inch display and similar sizing as the iPad mini 3, but with even more powerful hardware under the hood. The mini 4 takes the power of the iPad Air 2 and packages it into the a housing that at 6.1mm is 18 percent thinner than the mini 3.nThe mini 4 features the A8 processor, M8 motion coprocessor, 7.9-inch retina display, touch ID sensor, 8MP iSight camera, dual microphones and up to 10 hours of battery life
The iPad mini 4 is available now to purchase with orders shipping next week. The base model has a starting price of $399 for the 16GB model with a 64GB version available for $499 and 128GB for $599. Color options include space gray, gold and silver. A cellular version also is available and adds $129 to the base price of each model.
