When Apple talked about Touch ID in its new iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, the company said it was faster. Now, thanks to a new video, we can see just how much faster the newest version of the feature is.
In the video embedded below, Touch ID is compared on the iPhone 5s (where Touch ID was first introduced), along with the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s. It was put together by the folks at iFixYouri, and it shows quite well just how much Touch ID has improved over the years, especially in the iPhone 6s.
There’s no doubt that the iPhone 6s is incredibly fast, and it appears to be more reliable as well, especially when put up against the iPhone 5s.
Of course, some iPhone 6s and 6s Plus owners are pointing out that Touch ID is so fast now, and launches beyond the lock screen so quickly, that it’s hard to simply press the Home button (wth the appropriate Touch ID-linked digit) and check the time. That’s certainly an interesting problem to have, that’s for sure.
