Video: Watch this 4K video shot on the iPhone 6s

iPhone 6s Plus

The iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus are the first iPhones from Apple that can record videos in 4K resolution, which contains 4x more pixels than Full HD videos.

So, how good do 4K videos shot from the new iPhones look like? Apple uploaded a sample video on its website, which has been uploaded to YouTube by the folks over at iClarified. You can watch the video below.

Now, keep in mind that since the video was uploaded on YouTube, it was processed and optimised by Google’s servers. Due to this, the quality of the above video will not give you a clear idea of what the new 12MP iSight camera on the iPhone 6s is capable of. That’s not to say that the above video footage is not impressive by any means though.

To watch the original video without any compression and processing, head over to this page on Apple’s website, scroll down and hit the play button when you see one.

The new 12MP iSight camera on the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus also feature improved local tone mapping, better cinematic stabilisation, and a powerful new ISP that allows it to capture some stunning new photos and videos. Apple has even enabled Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) while recording videos on the iPhone 6s Plus this time around.
