Apple has begun hiring retail staff for its first Apple Store in Singapore, while its new location in Chengdu, China, will open on November 21 at 10 a.m. local time, the company has confirmed.
Apple’s Chengdu store will open less than a month after the company opened a new location, its 21st Apple Store for China, in the Parkland Mall in Dalian on October 24. It will be located in the Taikoo Li shopping plaza at 8 Middle Shamao Street in the Jinjiang District.
Taikoo Li is also home to other high-end retailers like Gap, Gucci, Omega, and Zara, MacRumors reports. Apple’s store will by open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day, and will offer a Genius Bar, Workshops, JointVenture, Events, and more.
Apple has also begun posting new job listings for its first retail store in Singapore, which is expected to open late next year inside the Knightsbridge shopping center. The company is seeking Specialists, Geniuses, Creatives, Business Specialists, and other store staff.
Although Apple already serves Singapore via its online store, and there are several authorized resellers there, the closest Apple Stores are hours away by plane in Australia and Hong Kong.
