Apple has decided to expand its same-day delivery options from its Apple Stores, but only for one area.
Back in May of this year, Apple began offering same-day deliveries for many of its items purchased at its retail stores in the San Francisco Bay area, in California. Apple was able to do this by way of Postmates, a delivery company that works in a variety of states and offers quick deliveries of items purchased locally.
Now, Apple has expanded same-day delivery to Manhattan, a New York City borough. As noted by MacRumors, availability is widespread for the most part, including 37 of 43 total zip codes. Most products are offered with a two-hour delivery window, but some have longer wait times within the same-day time period. Buyers can choose a variety of items, including iMacs, iPads, Macs, Apple Watch, Apple TV, and plenty of accessories.
Postmates same-day shipping is offered at a $19 flat-rate, and items have to be purchased through the Apple Store app, or through Apple’s Online Store.
