Apple Pay gains support for over 66 new issuers in the United States

Just before the holiday season, Apple has updated the list of banks and issuers that support Apple Pay. Of the 66 new additions today, the most notable one is support for BJ’s Wholesale Club Store cards.

With the addition of these new credit issuers and financial institutions, Apple Pay is now support by over 850 issuers in the United States. The list of new additions to Apple Pay can be found below:

While Apple has been making rapid progress in expanding Apple Pay within United States, its progress has not been remarkable in other countries where it has launched Apple Pay. This include the United Kingdom, Canada and Australia, where Apple Pay is still not supported by a vast majority of retailers and financial instituitions.
