With the holiday season already in full tilt, Apple has seen fit to release another beta for iOS to developers.
On Wednesday, December 16, Apple officially seeded the first beta for its upcoming iOS release, iOS 9.2.1. This first beta arrives a little after one week since Apple publicly released iOS 9.2 to the masses. For its part, iOS 9.2 was a relatively minor update, bringing with it plenty of fixes and improvements behind-the-scenes, but also improving the experience for Apple Music, Mail, iBooks, and other Apple software as well.
iOS 9.2.1 is available right now for developers through the Apple Developer Center. There is not a public beta available at the time of publication, but that should be following soon.
As for what is new within iOS 9.2.1, that is not known at this point. Considering it is a minor update in title, being only a .1 release, it’s likely that it will be focused on software improvements, tweaks, and other enhancements to make the overall experience better. If any new features do appear, we’ll update this post accordingly.Like this post? Share it!
